Description

Written by Glenn Martinez and sponsored by the Consuelo Foundation, this manual is to serve as an introduction to Aquaponic Farming, using a Flood and Drain method with an easy filtration system, for growing good food as sustainably as possible, especially in difficult climatic conditions or where good farm land is not available . It evolved from a trip to the Philippines with the University of Hawaii, organized by Dr. Tetsuzan Benny Ron, Aquaculture Program Coordinator, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education.

It includes detailed analyses, and three dimensional color drawings of bucket siphons, as well as cross sections of working systems.
