On April 24, 2005, Randy Davisson and Eli Whitney (Appaloosa horse) completed their mission to ride in all 50 U.S. States.

Randy and Eli rode out from Olomana Gardens  with Liz on Guy Doc and Jessica on Baby.  We went out on the Maunawili Ditch Demonstration Trail and up the Old Govt. Road trail to the top.  The group photo shows  Randy, Liz and Jessica with Glenn, Ralph Fukushima (who trailered Eli to Olomana Gardens), and Joe Correa, a friend who helped to arrange the ride.

After the ride, Randy graciously allowed me to get up on Eli and ride him around for a few minutes.  In no time at all, I was having a ball, experiencing Eli's fast racking gait.  What a lovely animal!
