On August 5, 2006, Glenn's son, Danniel Scott Motta married Hannah Rae Lovekamp Hartman The ceremony and reception were held at the magical property of Hannah's aunt and uncle, Twyla and Mike Wilcox in Washougal, Washington. The site for the wedding overlooked the Washougal River and the farms far below. In the week prior to the wedding, Glenn and I were privileged to spend some time getting to know Hannah's wonderful family. The hospitality of Glenn and Lisa Hartman (Hannah's dad and step-mom) and April and Allen, (Hannah's mom and step-dad) made us feel completely at home. Photos will be posted as soon as we find the card reader.
Danny and Hannah left for London, two days after the wedding. They have teaching jobs in Surrey. _________________________________ During the week we spent in Portland and Camas, we enjoyed seeing some of the attractions: the farmers market, The Grotto, The Clark County Fair, Fort Vancouver, The Air Museum, the Pittock House, the Chinese and the Japanese Gardens, and much more. We loved the McMenamin facilities such as Kennedy School and Edgefield. Note Glenn happily hoisting a glass of ale at Edgefield. It was marvellous!
